About Diu City In Gujarat

Diu was a big business center at the time of Portuguese arrival. In 1513 and 1531 the Portuguese tried to make checkpoints here, but they failed. Later, King Badshah Bahadur Shah of the Mughal emperor Humayun made an agreement with the Portuguese to protect his kingdom, under which the Diu Island was given to the Portuguese in 1535. The Portuguese made a fort on Diwas and made a roundabout around it. But the Sultan of Gujarat was soon regretted on his generosity and fought with the Portuguese. In this war he was killed. The attempt to remove the Portuguese failed by the Sultan between 1537 and 1546 failed. In 1538, the siege of the Ottoman Empire Dew, which the Portuguese had, failed to break. Konja Sopher for the second time siege of Diu and failed to break it. After this the fortification of the Diu was completed and in the second half of the 17th century it saw the invasion of Arab and Dutch. Diu remained in possession of the Portuguese from 1535 to 1961. In 1961, under the Operation Vijay run by the Indian government, this island also joined India with Goa and Daman.

About History Of Diu

There are many centralized territories in a big country like India. There are a total of 7 union territories in our country. Those seven union territories include Daman and Diu - Daman and Diu Union Territory. Daman and Diu is a small island of India. The island is located in the Arabian sea and its special point is that it used to be part of Goa even years ago. At one time it was the possession of the Portuguese on this island. But after the country got independence, it was also liberated from the Portuguese. Another special thing about this island is that Yehapar has many beaches. To see their beauty, you must go nowhere.

For about 450 years in the Arabian Sea, Daman and Di Po was in possession of the Portuguese. Goa and Dadar Nagar Haveli were also in possession of the Portuguese. On December 19, 1961, Goa and Daman and Diu were made part of India. But India also had to fight for it. Until the year 1974, the Portuguese also did not believe that Daman and Diu were the important part of India. Until 1987, Goa and Daman Diu were considered as the only Union Territory. But in 1987, Goa was given a state status and Daman and Diu got the status of Union Territory separately. Daman and Diu are located at a distance of 650 km from each other. Most of the people of this union territory speak the mother tongue, because the people of Damania caste here mostly talk in Gujarati. Besides Gujarati, Hindi and English are also the official language here. Because both languages are the official languages of the central government of the country, the Union Territory also has official languages. Daman and Diu was part of the Union Territory of Goa at one time but in 1987 Goa was made a state. When Portuguese was the dominion of Daman and Diu, the official language here was Portuguese. The Portuguese language was also used in the Catholic Church there.

Standard Portuguese language is spoken in Crowe Konintim and Daman and Diu Portuguese language speaks about 10,000 to 12,000 people. Most people in the Metropolitan Roman Catholic Archdiocyzes of Goa and Daman are Catholic. People of this religion are found everywhere. Most people speak Gujarati language on this small island. The official language of this island is Hindi and English. Due to the fact that most of the people here are from Damania, they talk in Gujarati only. Yahapar is also a very large and beautiful Jain temple. This temple is made of sangamarmar and it is also found in mural. This Jain temple is dedicated to Mahavir Swami. All the schools here are taught three languages. Due to the rule of Yahyap Portuguesu at one time, many old buildings and monuments of Yahapura remind the Portuguese architecture.

The establishment of a neutral community and visiting various places in the people of death also visited the Dwarka. With him as his followers, eighty (80) other saints were also there. Thus, the number of 84 is completed by adding four Satakkumar and 80 follower nostalgic saints. All 84 saints and devotees of Goddess Sadhana established silence and meditation on it and gave Brahmaji the glorification of a single laugh, and gave a concrete teaching to create four and a half million variants in the form of chorasi tunes. For this reason, this place is known in the world by the name of Chaurasi Dhana.

In the end, the last Acharya Jagatguru Udsinacharya Shri Chandra Bhagwan came to this place and rekindled the chorus tunes established by the Sankadik Rishis and rekindled it as a pilgrim center of the Nishan sect. This place is still under the nostalgic sect and sadness dwells there. The coming passengers, the residence of devotees and saints, arrangements for food etc. are also provided free of charge by Chaurasi Smana Nisin Ashram. Visitors who visit Dwarka visit to visit the Chaurasi Dhana pilgrimage surely go. It is such a concept that after seeing the four-legged tunes, a million chaurasi is cut off, meaning that it does not have to wander in four hundred million vagina and it becomes free.
